DESCRIPTION:The East Broad Top Railfan Spectacular will take place on October 11\, 2024. The event features locomotive No. 16\, a Baldwin 2-8-2 built in 1916\, pulling a train of coal hopper cars and coaches through the scenic Aughwick Valley. The morning will include multiple photo run-bys between Orbisonia (Rockhill Furnace) and Colgate Grove\, followed by an afternoon workshop tour at Rockhill Furnace. Participants will also visit the Friends of the East Broad Top Museum\, take a walking tour to the Robertsdale Coal Mine\, try out a railbike\, and ride the historic trolleys at the Rockhill Trolley Museum.
